Glassware

There is a greater meaning in choosing a glass for a drink. It is said that the charms of glass and the drink should interlace with each other. Well i don't know to what degree does a glass brings a perfection to a drink but it is always a pleasure to drink a drink in a beautiful glass which decorates it's taste......

Here are some types of glass with there name, remember the basic rule mentioned in the previous article;
tall glasses for thirst quenchers and shorter once for drinks with a flavour more heady and intense.

Basic for Drinks and Mocktails

These are some of the very basic things that a drink maker should be aware of, it's simple and easy going....

  • The glass used to serve the drink should be clean and spotless. if your glass shine with the light believe me it will add charm to your drink.
  • A glass for a drink is not chosen just randomly, it's style should interlace with the drink served in it, like; tall glasses for thirst quenchers and shorter once for drinks with a flavour more heady and intense.
  • Keep plenty of ice
  • Use blender to crush ice, break the ice cubes into smaller pieces first then use the blender i don't want you to replace your blender every few months :)
  • Never shake fizzy drinks (Drinks were soda is used)
  • Drinks containing eggs, fruit juices or cream are shaken in a shaker.
  • Always use the fresh ingredients. Choose fruits which is firm, ripe and without blemish.
  • Squeeze lemon juice on cut fruits to prevent discoloration
  • Do not add ice to pre-mixed drinks. Add the ice just before serving
